The hotel has been run as a family business since its inception and, with its view and family environment, is a very popular accommodation. Located right next to Drottningledens start, Laisaliden has attracted visitors in wintertime as well as summertime.
In the summer of 2017 the hotel was sold and owned by Fort Knox and Norrland 2.0. The hotel is currently closed for renovation and development. The ambition is to create an absolute world-class visit and that this will be achieved in cooperation with others in the area.
